Five questions with Aaron Campeau of 7500 to Holte
Ahead of Sunday's FA Cup 4th round clash with Aston Villa, Aaron Campeau of SBNation's Aston Villa blog 7500 to Holte was kind enough to answer some questions for us about his club and the match. Thanks much to Aaron! Here we go:
1.) New loanee Robbie Keane scored twice in his first full match for Villa against Wolves. Are you excited to have him? What does he offer to Villa alongside or in place of Darren Bent?
I think Robbie Keane is still a decent player and I'm glad he'll be around for a few months, but to say I'm excited would be a pretty serious overstatement. For one, he is an LA Galaxy player and his performing well makes me nervous for the coming MLS season. For another, he's leaving soon and though it's nice to get some production while he's here every goal is a reminder that with Villa's current austerity drive two months of the fifth best player on an MLS team is the best we can do.
Arsenal transfer rumours: "We're unlikely to sign a left back"
Arsenal "transfer rumors": there aren't any.
Here's what the boss had to say:
"Gibbs is back in full training on Monday, and Vermaelen can [also] play left back and he is fit. [Andre] Santos will be fit in March," he said.
"Three left backs, plus Sagna - who can play there - is four. We are not [shopping for a] left back."

Arsenal injury news: Jack Wilshere suffers apparent setback
Arsenal may be without the services of midfielder Jack Wilshere for a bit longer than anticipated, as the former Medical Miracle felt a pain in his ankle whilst running yesterday, according to Arsène Wenger:
"He had a little setback. We are investigating it at the moment and don't know how bad it is," Wenger said. "He sees a specialist today. He has pain again in his ankle. We stopped him straight away. He did it running."
At this point, there is no prognosis, but the expected return to training in a couple of weeks is off the table, most likely. More after the jump:
Wilshire suffers injury setback, no word on return date
There's more pain in his ankle, according to Arsene. Nothing's going right for him this season.
UPDATE: the phrase "out for the season" has been uttered. No confirmation of that yet, but....derp
Questions for Fusillade?
Despite the absence, through vocal cord injuries, of two members, the show shall go on, with a planned recording time at some point after Sunday's FA Cup match.

Arsenal: Positive Jam(s)
I've been far too negative about the Arsenal lately, both in my mind and on the blog. So, herein and below, I shall only list the positive things I feel about Arsenal right now.
Everyone listening to the above? Good. Here we go:
- Arsenal are NOT queueing up for soup and scabby sores.
- Bacary Sagna is back in full training.
- Kieran Gibbs is not far behind him.
- Jack Wilshere, when he returns, will be fresh and angry, and he's just what Arsenal need in the center of midfield right now.
- Thomas Vermaelen may soon get to move back to center half next to Laurent Koscielny.
- Arsenal have no flappers -- at least not in the starting lineup! Hey-o! Fabianski joke!
- Robin van Persie is still a deadly finisher.
- Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a fun guy to watch run around doing football-related things on a football pitch.
- He is also very good at doing those football things like kicking footballs hard and passing footballs accurately to his fellow football guys.
- Gervinho isn't gone forever and offers some things Arsenal could use.
- Arsenal are above approximately 150 other professional English football clubs in the table. Things could be worse (could be stabbed).
- Arsenal have a ton of money, which is more than most clubs can say.
- Arsenal are not the Minnesota Vikings.
- If they play their cards right, Arsenal will slowly be able to clear choking wages off their books and slowly build a new wage structure.
- The players are holding team meetings to try to sort things out.
- Arsenal are still in the Champions League (I can think of two clubs that are no longer in the Champions League).
- Nico Yennaris.
- Still have home matches against Spurs, Chelsea, City, and Newcastle.
STAY POSITIVE
