Arsenal vs. Stoke postponed
Today's match between Arsenal and Stoke City has been postponed, due to three inches of snow in half an hour and counting in London late this morning.
No date for the rearranged fixture yet. Chelsea-Manchester United is off, Blackpool-Tottenham is off, Birmingham-Newcastle, Wigan-Aston Villa, Fulham-Liverpool, all off too.
Blackburn-West Ham: still on!

Captain, there are doubt's...
Element's from the past and the future combining to form something not quite as good as either.

3 inches in a half-hour?
LOL. In Upstate NY this wouldn’t even slow us down. See here.

too cold to snow that much in northern MN
except for the time we got 39 inches. Which, by great lakes-effect standards, I grant, isn’t much.
We're, like, 6 inches shy of the snowiest December ever.
It’s only the 18th!

It would shut Portland, OR down for two days
I love snow days because nobody here (including me) knows how to drive in the snow so it’s always chaos when even the smallest bit of snow falls here.
They're having meetings right now
on how to better handle when drivers get trapped on the Thruway by storms. Not IF drivers get trapped, WHEN.

but then getting tired and needing a rest

Snow days?
What are those, exactly. Live in Edmonton. There is no such thing as snow days here… everyday would be cancelled then.
I live in Rhode Island
3 years ago, a bunch of kids got stuck on busses until 11 PM because they let kids out right when the storm hit.
Ever since then, a hint of a big storm and school is cancelled

I live in Pennsylvannia in a ski tourism area and we never get out.
The practically record breaking low levels of snow we’ve had this year helped. Not even a measly delay of class yet. Gah.
That's disappointing
I was looking forward to watching the boys today too. Ah well, now this will give our injury list time to get shorter, right?
Up the Gunners!
24 is clearly the most perfect of numbers.
Not good news for Szczesny
This will probably give Fabianski enough time to recover from his hip injury to start in the next match. I’d be interesting if Wenger still goes with the younger Pole though.
