Potential Arsenal target Joe Cole signs for Liverpool
Joe Cole has agreed a four-year deal with Liverpool FC, according to reports on the club's official website.

I would have taken a flier on him
but not for anywhere near £90,000 a week that the deal’s supposedly worth.

He's a good player and could have fit into the team
Depth is always nice to have, but a couple things kept me from really wanting him
1. He’s got a history of getting injured, and we don’t need more of those players
2. Take playing time away from the young guns just coming through, Wilshire/Ramsey
3. His wages would prevent us from improving in more pressing areas
I think Liverpool gave him the extra 10k per week since they are desperate and have almost no transfer budget unless they sell players.
