Fox Soccer in HD?

All throughout last season, and again Saturday, I keep hearing Fox Soccer lead in to their games with "Fox Soccer - Now in HD!" Does anybody actually GET Fox Soccer in HD? I'm in Portland, and we most certainly do not. I was just wondering if it is starting to be commonly rolled out elsewhere so that when I do what they say and "call my local cable company" I can say "hey everyone else has it I want it NOW!"

Do you have FSC in HD? What cable company/satellite service?

i don't have FSC so i couldn't tell you,

but what I CAN say is that there was a FSC HD rip online yesterday for the Arsenal v Liverpool game. So certainly HD is available.

As far as I know, I don't have it

I’m Comcast in the Midwest (Indianapolis, precisely). I have FSC but only in standard definition.

I have in KC MO

on Time Warner Cable. And I believe my parents have it on TWC in Nebraska.

Since you asked....

I understand Time Warner has FSC and FS+ in HD. I live in San Diego in the Cox area, which only has FSC in SD. I’m pretty sure if TWC offers it, it’s offered on all TWC outlets…..

No dice on Comcast here in Pittsburgh. I think I’m going to Verizon FiOS when we move in a few weeks and much to my chagrin, they don’t carry the HD feed yet either. FiOS does have Fox Soccer Plus as a premium channel, so at least I get that. But I lose GolTV unless I want to shell out $15 for the highest channel package (that has nothing else I care for). I can’t win!

My local cable company doesn't even give me the option of that channel

Luckily ESPN seems to have jumped on the bandwagon post world cup and has shown the last 2 matches I was wanting to see (Arsenal-Blackpool and Liverpool-Man City) and have another Arsenal match on schedule for Saturday. The rest I can catch online.

They didn't have a single Arsenal match all last year on ESPN

if I recall correctly. This year, 2/3 so far, woohoo!

Pretty sure they had Arsenal/Spurs, but I think that was it. Either way, here’s hoping they have a few more this year as it’s the only way I can see them in HD until Verizon carries FSC HD in my area.
