Most have probably already seen or heard this, but nonetheless:
His and Arsenal's are the only words that ever really mattered, and now it is all settled.
"I can assure all the fans that now the negotiations have ended I will be 100 percent focused on playing for Arsenal.
"I am an Arsenal player and as soon as I step out on to the pitch, that is the only club I will be thinking about.
"I am looking forward to the start of the season and putting this speculation behind me."
Time for the season to begin now. Well, as soon as the central defense question is sorted out. And maybe the goalkeeping question...

i knew he was staying, but it’s good to hear it from him.
I think it’s fair to say this will be his last season though.

I agree that this is probably his last year.
It’s going to be the Ronaldo to Real saga all over again throughout the season. A month won’t go by without Barcelona saying something to unsettle the situation, at some point they’ll even claim they have a deal already signed, etc.. In the end they probably get their way, but hopefully we will get top dollar.
Maybe the only way I can see him staying is if Arsenal win the league this year.
Great to have it confirmed.
Now you Gunners – go out and win some trophies!

Cesc, I’m glad you’re back. Please stay healthy, we can win lots together. If you do want to leave, let’s hope they offer what you’re really worth, the sun and the moon.
