The Arsenal starting XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Clichy, Frimpong, Rosicky, Wilshere, Nasri, Walcott, Chamakh.

Bit more trouble in the Arsenal area
Vermaelen loses out after a weird deflection, eventually out for a goal kick
1-0 Legia
Cabral. From 25. Nobody closed him down. Poor from Arsenal; they are being pressed out of the match at the moment.

Off a corner. Fabianski gets nothing on it after tripping over Vermaelen’s leg, it goes in off of Koscielny’s leg. Wait, are we playing Blackburn?
3-0.
off another corner. Short corner, crossed from deep, headed to their striker, rifled into the roof of the net. bad.
Legia 3 - 1 Arsenal
not a good show from Arsenal to start. Legia pressing them hard and fast in the midfield, which may be beneficial in the long run. Arsenal have to get used to a higher tempo and physical pressing again, the sooner the better.
At least the crapness in defending has come now

I love the fact they didn’t give up. Thats what I was implying. I wouldnt care who was out there if they did the same as what arsenal just did.
Yeah.
one thing I like about having Eboue (and Gibbs) in the mix is they have more defensive tenacity, it seems, than our other midfielders. However, I think Legia also are tiring…
Also,
apologies for butchering the Legia striker’s name. He doesn’t deserve that from me. Polish is difficult.
Samir Nasri is really really good
And fresh. I don’t see how he can be left out of the starting XI. Midfield puzzle gets trickier.
