the chairman of Sp*rs came out today and admitted that they will move out of North London even if they don't get the Olympic Stadium.  As an example of just how stupid and tone-deaf he is, he said this:

"We need a larger stadium, and if that means we have to move out of the area, I think the fans will back us."

I can see one of the newfangled American owners of a team saying that, but Daniel Levy's an Englishman who should know better than anyone the ties between geography and fandom.  The whole thing is massively funny and I can't wait until they move to somewhere and alienate almost their entire current N17 fanbase.  Will it ultimately matter?  Not really.  They'll move, people will be pissed off, life will go on, Sp*rs fans will find something else to do with their time, like find jobs.  But it will be nice to have North London all to ourselves.
