Five questions with Kevin McCauley of SBN Tottenham Hotspur blog Cartilage Free Captain

Ahead of tomorrow's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, Kevin McCauley of Cartilage Free Captain, SBNation's Spurs blog, was gracious enough to take time out of his extremely busy schedule to answer some questions about his team. Former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor is now a Tottenham player. Have you liked what you've seen so far? Are you waiting for him to drift offside approximately 56 times per match?

KM: Emmanuel Adebayor has been brilliant so far, which shouldn't really be shocking to anyone. He was arguably the best striker in the Premier League for you guys in 2007-08 and had a good first year for Manchester City. He has a bit of a tendency to act like a complete tit sometimes, but he's always been brilliant when he's had his head in the game.

Give us your thoughts on the summer that Luka Modric had; do you think it was good for Spurs to fight to hang onto him, do you think his play will be affected (it certainly doesn't seem to have been so far), and are you tired of hearing about it?

KM: Hanging on to Luka Modric has turned out to be the correct decision. He's playing very well and at the moment, you guys aren't. Though Arsenal might get a good result on Sunday, they're going to be fighting for fourth place all season, along with us. We weren't going to find a Modric replacement on short notice, and Chelsea wasn't willing to pay what he was worth until the last week of the transfer window.

What do you think about Gareth Bale's form since last winter? Is he playing at his highest level at the moment? And if he is Welsh Jesus, what does that make Aaron Ramsey, do you think?

KM: Bale hasn't been great since the end of last December. However, he was very good against both Liverpool and Wigan, so I'm hoping that this is a sign of things to come and that he's coming back into his best form. Perhaps Aaron Ramsey is Welsh Moses? Welsh Mohammed? What other prophets are there? I'm not a religious man or religious scholar, sorry to say.

The Olympic Stadium. Do you want it? Should you have it? Would you be opposed to Spurs moving to a different part of London, regardless of whether it is to the Olympic Stadium or not?

KM: F--- the Olympic Stadium.

Do you expect the return of any of your injured players for Sunday, or will 'Arry opt to keep rolling with what's working right now? (No comment on Steven Pienaar being out with "Gilmore's Groin".)

KM: Danny Rose and Aaron Lennon will both return to the bench, but I don't expect either to start. Pienaar is probably still out, and both Tom Huddlestone and Michael Dawson are going to be out for a while. Benoit Assou-Ekotto's status isn't crystal clear but I expect him to play.

Spurs' recent run of form has been better since their heavy loss to Manchester City in August. Similarly, Arsenal got absolutely crushed earlier this year, but have since looked a little more stable, particularly in the 3-0 win against Bolton Wanderers. Do you have any thoughts about what to look for in Sunday's match, and do you have a prediction?

KM: I think these teams are about as good as each other, and I think both defenses are shaky. I like a scoring draw.
