I honestly find overpaid, rich footballers without money to buy the little things one of the funniest things on the planet.

It's not so much "without money" as "without the grounding in reality to expect they'll have to use their own money"
Top flight athletes in all sports are handed free stuff pretty much from the day their promise as athletes was identified, so they’re not exactly accustomed to having to pay for stuff. Most of them realize that’s not exactly reality, but then you get your CROUCHIE WANTS HIS NACHOS and your Bendtner-in-pizza situations and hilarity ensues.
And the jokes continue to write themselves...
as Bendtner was arrested last night for smashing up cars in Newcastle with Lee Cattermole.
