Arsenal On Youtube (i.e. Liverpool video preview)
Arsenal v Liverpool is a fixture rich in tradition. Two of the top 3 teams in winning the league, and possibly the most dramatic ending to the League system in 1989.
The two face off again on Sunday, so for some inspiration, let's go to YouTube.
Liverpool 0-2 Arsenal - League Decider (1989) - Live Footage (via thekeogh)
Arsenal, having lead the league for most of the season, decided to go into cock up mode (losing at home to Derby and Wimbledon), and needed a two goal victory to win the league. Problem was, it was at Liverpool, who were roared on by the still mourning over Hillsbrough fans. Arsenal scored early in the second half, and finally won the league in injury time.

Having lost in both the FA Cup semi final and the Champions League quarterfinal, Arsenal needed a win to get the campaign back on track. Reeling, and only 4 points ahead of Chelsea, losing could've seen the wheels fall off, and they went down 1-0 and 2-1. Luckily, Thierry Henry grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and Arsenal went on to win 4-2.

And I should add that if you've never seen the Colin Firth version of Fever Pitch it sums up 1989 incredibly well
and is a much better film than that gawdawful Jimmy Fallon thing.
I loved that film
It was, as you said, a lot better than the Red Sox based one

I still can't believe they made a Fever Pitch movie about baseball. Disgusting.
