Arsenal link roundup for Monday, May 16
Let's just have a look at some links from today's blogs and newspapers and see if they help anything. Wait, what? You say there's no salve in the world that somehow cures the doldrums? You say you're not even mad anymore? I'm not really mad anymore, either. I'm actually kind of excited for next season, and I hope that we manage to nick third here in the last week.
Okay, well, let's look anyway:

Every time this team has had something to play for this season they've effed it up
I have no reason to believe this weekend will be any different. Champions League qualifiers ahoy!
As a Bayern fan as well, I want Arsenal to finish 4th so that FCB won't have to play Man City.
Arsenal would be seeded for the qualifiers, City would not be.

Ha - I had seen that.
But don’t you know? Dropping your trophy from the bus is all the rage these days. I mean, they do it in Spain.
yeah there was that ESPN commercial with the guy bathing his baby in it then the next guy was serving punch from it.
Chuck Norris doesn't need a bat.
he just roundhouse kicks the ball out of the park.

That's probably the least awful thing to happen to the Cup in years
it’s been used as a dog-food bowl, it’s been thrown to the bottom of swimming pools, it’s just generally been treated like a rock star treats a groupie by any number of players.
I don't think I've ever seen someone drop the cup - guys hold on to it like it is about to be stolen from them.
However… this happened:

Friggin’ Def Leppard.
For all that's said about the Newcastle game
the team sowed the seeds of that collapse against Spurs. From then on, no lead was safe.

Have we signed neven subotic yet?

I'm just in the apathy stage
Watched that whole game yesterday, and really never cared. We really just need a couple signings and a clean slate.
A very clean slate.

I don't think we should even use a slate.
It should be something totally new.

Arsenal are now fourth.
Stoke really are good for nothing. Let’s see that they are relegated next year.
First thing to do in that cause would be taking six points off them instead of just three.

Yeah yeah, we hope Arsenal does their part.
But I mean us… the fans. Find out where these players live.
I assume you mean ours
we’ll go ’round their houses first.

Well, it's a long weekend to Monday, so I'll leave this here.
Denilson said in an interview that he confirms that he is set to quit Arsenal after what he deems a “shameful” season. “Worst” of his career. I’m guessing he’s off to Brazil, but who knows.
Think he gets a walk on Sunday?
