So, Arsenal and Blackburn face off in lower-table battle (hopefully not after this morning). There have been protests before the game by Rovers supporters who want Steve Kean out, as the team is only on 1 point after four matches. It all seems a little dramatic to me as it's so super early yet, but it's happening. Whatever the case, I hope Arsenal hammer Rovers today. I also hope I stop biting the spot on my lip where I bit my lip super hard last night, because it hurts.

Santos was behind from the ref's position so yakubu probably looked even
they are told, when in doubt, favor the offensive player. So the ref made the right call. Santos also kept yakubu onside for the first goal.

to be fair, that was a much harder header to get down than people are saying
I think if it was lower, it would’ve gone off defender’s head
at full speed, it's ridiculously hard to get a header to go down like that
your forward momemtum, no matter where you hit the ball at, is going to carry it forward a bit, in Mertesacker’s case, the ball was just too high up to even make a decent chance at it, maybe if he was outside a little more and caught it farther down, but idk, it’s said and done

All right, screw this team.
Wenger – you’re not producing a team that looks like top four material (I’ll be watching Liverpool Tottenham – if Liverpool wins, they are looking good for it). Fuck ‘em. Play them relentlessly. Don’t talk about winning, talk about getting better. Play them in the cups and push for any piece of silverware and come back next year with a team that knows how to play together.
Who knows… maybe you can with Europa.
And yes, I know this is only the start of the season, but this was a game they should have won.
They just don’t look like an organized team and when Blackburn highlights that fact, it is pretty dire.
Oh, and one thing I did hear on the broadcast (I had the English one, not ESPN) was a comment that went like "I talked with Arsenal fans and ask them if they need a new manager. They said “we don’t need a new manager, we need our manager to change his ways”." I felt it pertinent and more honest than anything we’re going to here today and tomorrow from the media.

For years, we’ve played a brand of football, a beautiful, free flowing passing game that everybody loves to see. But over the years, these teams have gotten used to that style of play and just muscle us out. It’s not a matter of spending money or changing managers, we’re just getting muscled out and you could clearly see that today. We need to start playing old, physical EPL football. We have the talent, we’re just not utilizing it properly, in my opinion

I would also highlight the team mentality. There was a brilliant cohesiveness to the Invincibles that Arsenal have not repeated in a long while. Time to get that back and if it isn’t possible, that’s on Wenger.
I often wonder about this
How much influence does the manager really have over the mentality of his players? Some, to be sure, but doesn’t each player on the team have to look at himself and say “you have to get better, you have to want this”?
Of course, on the other hand, Wenger is the one who meets them, signs them, and picks them…
