Stupid Rumor of the Day II: van Persie to Man City
This is the worst sort of article ever. The headline is so tantalizing - will Robin leave? Will Arsenal let him go? - but then you read the article and there is absolutely nothing of any substance to back up the headline at all. No quotes, no "anonymous sources confirm", nothing. I expect better from the Guardian.

This one's been popping up since RVP said he was putting off the contract talks until later
It was on Metro and the BBC a couple of days ago, it’s just picking up speed because of the Tevez spat, but honestly, I think every player now, because of the Tevez/Dzeko/Balotelli issues, looks at the attitude issues at City with the players and what not, and it’s just not a desirable destination anymore regardless of the money offered. RVP wants to play ball, and he’ll be a consistent starter up front for us for awhile if he resigns, he shows loyalty to Arsenal, and if we give him a decent raise, I believe he’ll definitely stay, I have no other reason to believe otherwise that we wouldn’t give him upwards around 175-200k a week, we have the money, he’s one of the most dangerous strikers in the league, in all of Europe really, and we’re lucky to have someone of that caliber, because honestly right now, there’s no way we could attract another player of that caliber to the Emirates, not without paying above market prices.

"Do you think we need one more...? You think we need one more... Alright we'll get one more"
Such a bad rumour
3/10, Guardian, 3/10.
AAARRRRRRRSSSSSHHHHHHHHAAAAAAVVVVVIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN!
Dream goal!
8 of the 10 paragraphs in this article are about Tevez/City
Thus, the title is about RVP and the photo is RVP. Makes sense.
Captain, there are doubt''s...
