Clint Dempsey to be up for grabs?
Obviously there's very little here but if Dempsey wants actual playing time in the Champions League there's not many EPL clubs he could pick from. I would think Arsenal would be one of those, with our crap frontline second strings. The man is on fire.

I actually don't want Dempsey
I love him for the USMNT, and I think he is doing a fantastic job at Fulham, but I don’t think that he would be a good fit for the kind of play that Arsenal use. He doesn’t really fit in with the high rate pacing, he’s more of a counter attacking player. This also matters with the USMNT because it becomes a question of how do you play him with Klinsmann’s new system with Donovan already there.
To be honest,
I love Dempsey – but Arsenal need Donovan. Our corners and crosses just aren’t good enough. And Dempsey can provide.
