OW MY EVERYTHING HURTS OW OW OW
This is going to be a shorter one than usual, which I, for one, am going to take as a good sign. Arsene Wenger's injury talk today only included two players, which presumably means that all of the long-term injury types are holding on schedule (or I suppose that they've disappeared from history, never to be seen again, but that seems less likely).
He has a test with the team later today. But he had one yesterday and it looks positive. It is 90 per cent yes.
Wenger also says that the squad should be basically the same as last weekend.
Additionally - and I know this is going to shock everyone - Abou Diaby has another small injury!
There was a little pain in training yesterday so we will not expose him. It is nothing serious, we are just being cautious.
I've said this before, and I'll repeat it: I think Diaby shouldn't play again this year unless it's an emergency situation. Using caution is good, but I think extreme caution may be the way to go here. Because nothing else has worked, so we might as well try just shutting him down while he's healthy and hope that will let him get past this.
