Hi there. I have a favor to ask of you, the awesome TSF readership. Every year, I do a bike ride for charity - it used to be called the MS150, but these days they're going with the catchier BikeMS. Anyway, as you can probably tell from the name of the event, it's a ride to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research - MS is a strange mystery disease even now, there is no known cause for it or cure for it although there have been great strides in the management of it through the years.

It's not a disease that has a lot of "sex appeal" around it, either - it doesn't affect any major celebrities or have any big foundations backing it, so MS doesn't have the massive infrastructure of donors that, say, cancer or autism or Parkinson's does. So we ride bikes.

Anyway, that's where you can help - this year's ride is August 4 & 5, and I'm here now, metaphorical hat in metaphorical hand, to ask if you'd be willing to donate a few bucks to the cause. If you like what I do at TSF, this is a great way to show support; even if you don't care about what I do here, I'll still gratefully accept any donation you'd care to give. I'm almost half way to my fundraising goal, and to be honest I'd like to obliterate my goal; you can help me get there, and if you do I will be forever in your debt.
