Arsenal have announced the new away kit by Nike for the 2012-13 season, and...well. The new kit is alternating purple and black stripes. It's a Jim Henson Goth Revival kit. It's a kit made from Batman's hair at night.

The club released the new away kit at Midnight British Time. That should tell everybody something.

So. Roughly 30% of Arsenal's matches this year will be played in a kit that looks like the back of Tim Burton's wardrobe. But that's just my opinion. What is yours?
