Arsenal play what is to be their last preseason match of the year against Lukas Podolski's former team, 1. FC Köln, who have been relegated to the 2. Bundesliga after finishing 17th last season. it will be the first appearance in an Arsenal kit for Santi Cazorla, Podolski, and Olivier Giroud, and with Sunderland less than a week away, it cannot come soon enough.
