The awesomeness that is I Know The Score is back! Oddly, either because we haven't had much controversy this summer aside from that dude known as RVP, or because I'm just way too damn busy this summer, it seems like the off-season has gone by much more quickly than it normally does, which I have absolutely no problem with.

For the most part, people who played last year should know that all the rules are the same as before, but for any newcomers, this is how it goes down...

I post fixtures every week, usually on a Monday or Tuesday...

Pick the winner of the match (or a draw), and guess the scoreline as well

1 point for a picked victorious team (but wrong scoreline) or a picked draw

2 points for a picked victorious team, and correct margin of victory as well

3 points for a correctly picked victorious team or draw and a correct scoreline (These are also counted up individually as the tiebreaker as well)

Bonus Points: Occasionally, Arsenal plays in competitions outside of the EPL, and usually I'll throw in an Arsenal CL, FA, or Carling Cup match for some bonus points, above scoring procedure apply

When the weekend is over, I post a report on the prior weekend's results and scoring, and the current standings as well. Right now, I have a spreadsheet all made out so all I have to do is enter in some digits and it automatically calculates the scoring, much MUCH easier for me than last year where everything was done by hand. Also a possibility is the potential to make a separate site at some point, where I can post the week's spreadsheet, news, standings, statistics, etc., I haven't gotten around to it yet this summer but it's in the plans.

Now with that being said, here's Week 1 of the EPL! Due to whatever circumstances, the EPL has a midweek game next week on the 22nd, which is a Wednesday, that match will be included in the first week.
