Arsenal's goalkeeping ranks are set to stay thin for a while, as Wojciech Szczesny's ankle injury looks set to keep him out for two to three more weeks. Lukasz Fabianski's return date is still unclear as well, so for now, Arsenal will continue to roll with Vito Mannone in goal and Damien Martinez and James Shea as backups. Indeed, with Arsenal's Capital One Cup match against Coventry coming up on Wednesday, we could be set to see Martinez very soon.
Wenger also revealed some good news on Tomas Rosicky and Bacary Sagna: "Sagna is one week away from full training, and Rosicky two." This is good news, as more depth cannot hurt, and as Rosicky is possibly the closest thing Arsenal have to Santi Cazorla not named Santi Cazorla (or Jack Wilshere, who as we know is now back in full training as well.) Emmanuel Frimpong, too, is back in training. As for Sagna, he is still surely the first-choice right back at the club, but Carl Jenkinson's form has been getting better as he goes along, and if he keeps playing while Sagna gets his fitness back, there's no gigantic concern.
