TGIF: What is Arsenal's team worth?

I ran this table while checking out transfer garbage on transfermarket.co.uk , and found it quite interesting.

They estimate what each player's transfer value is, and in this table what each squad of players in the premier league is "worth." This is what they consider the current value of a squad, not what the squad cost to buy when constructed.

It's interesting to note that Arsenal have the 4th most valuable squad in the Premier League, about what we would expect. Spurs and Liverpool are not too far behind at 5th and 6th, but we yield almost £100 million to the 3rd most valuable team, Chelsea.

Looking at the current standings on the real PL table: Manchester City (-1) are certainly under performing based on their team value. The biggest under achievers are QPR (-9) who have the 11th most valuable team but sit dead last in the the real deal. Newcastle are also doing pretty poor sitting 7 places below their team value.

Teams like Norwich (+7), Swansea (+8) and West Brom (+8) are over performing their team value.

The average team variance is 3.6 places.

Arsenal are 2 places below their team value. The AFC squad is the 4th youngest on average only trailing Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa.

Arsenal's players on average are worth 1.6x as much as the average PL player. Manchester City's players are worth 3x more on average.

The Arsenal squad makes up about 8% of the value of all Premier League players. (The average would of course be 5%) Manchester City's squad makes up 14.5%.
